The Hatchet

We read a book in class called The Hatchet It was about a boy called Brian Robinson who got lost in the Canadian Forest when travelling to his father in Canada. He is in a desperate fight for survival when his plane crashes with him and a dead pilot inside, belted in a plummeting jet. Brian survives but is desperately trying to safe himself. He goes through many traumatic experiences such as a tornado and a mission to get the survival pack inside the shredded plane. He eventually gets home after his grueling travel to the woods. I think it was a fantastic book by Gary Pulsen, I reccomend this book for anyone who like a good adventure. :)
